Science Fest - We Made the Paper!

How lucky are we?!  The kids and I had our pictures published again!  This time it was a picture of the kids and I in the local paper taking in an activity at the public library.  The children's librarian, along with some local middle schoolers, hosted a "Science Fest" for 4 year olds to 4th graders.  It was on a Saturday morning and Tom was training for the marathon, so it was a great time for the kids and me to do a fun activity together (we don't get those as often now that they are in school).  Anyway, the kids made Oobleck (cornstarch and water), green slime, and snow!  Plus they watch an experiment making elephant toothpaste.  Very cool and a fun memory for the kids... a great way to spend a Saturday morning!  Thanks Miss Betsy and the Oconomowoc Public Library.
