What a blessed Easter we had! For the first time in about 13 years, my family was all together on Easter. And Tom and I were ecstatic that we could host everyone here. In total there were 14 of us gathered around the table at the meals! How great is that! My parents arrived Thursday morning. My sister, brother-in-law, and four nephews arrived Friday afternoon. And my brother and his best bud arrived Friday night. And everyone was able to stay until Monday morning. Loved it! We had originally planned to house everyone too, but my brother and sister both opted for hotel rooms...so it ended up that we only needed beds for my folks and my nephews. We did a lot of cooking, eating, playing board games, playing Wii games, eating (wait, I mentioned that already!), laughing, and just celebrating family.
Thank you God for the gift of your Son,
Jesus - His life, death, and resurrection!
And thank you God for my family!
Thank you to Mom, Dad, Jeff, Jason, Lisa, Mike, Jacob, Mason, Garret, and Nolan for all making the trek to Oconomowoc to visit us and to celebrate. We love you and miss you already!
And thank you Tom - you are an amazing husband and a huge help (especially when it comes to entertaining and feeding a crowd)!
