Halloween Festivities 2013

Our Halloween stretch out over about two weeks this year.  We started in mid-October by getting Jackson's costume ready.  We were going to make both of the kid's costumes this year, but ran out of time.  Plus, it was just as cheap to buy Morgan's costume as it was for us to try to make it (cause we would still have to buy stuff for it).  Originally, Morgan was going to be a Minion for Despicable Me (we love those movies), but instead she opted for Dorothy and she loved it.  Who can blame her? What's not to love when you have a sparkly dress, sparkly shoes, and get to carry a cute dog?!  Right?

The festivities started with Jackson's Halloween parade at school.  It was fun seeing all the great costumes from the kids.  And talk about some creative ones - a tornado, Buckwheat (from the Little Rascals), and even a boy impersonating Mrs. Wilson, the principle (and let me tell you, you couldn' tell it was a boy either!).

Then Granny and Pup Pup came to visit us.  A quick trip, but a super fun one!  They got to enjoy the pumpkin patch with us, carving pumpkins, the Halloween parade in town, and trick or treating.  Thanks so much for being here with us Granny and Pup Pup.  Hope you had as much fun as us!  All of this happened well before Halloween - almost a week early.

Then on the true Halloween, Morgan's class had their Halloween party and parade at school.  Cute!  Cute!!!

There were three Hulks - almost in a row - missed the
first one unfortunately.  I guess kids like the Hulk.

And lastly, we had a post-Halloween party with friends on November 2.  It was fun to be with friends and to see the kids all dressed up one more time!
