This was a Barn Show hosted by her stable and one other stable in the area. So this wasn't an official competition, but it definitely gave her a taste of what could be to come should she continue to ride. Although she doesn't have to compete even if she keeps riding. Let me tell you, there is a lot that goes into these shows... for the stable and for us too. So many things we didn't know she would need. Thanks so much to friends that had some things we could borrow. We may have to invest in other things if this continues though (like riding attire, hair bows, tie bars, different jod pants, a helmet...the list goes on). And then we have so much to learn about the sport itself... didn't know about the different classes that they compete in and what exactly they are looking for when the rider is in the arena with other riders. So we will get there!
Woohoo! Look at our little horse rider! Love this girl! She rode Foxy in her first competition. She earned 2 third places! So proud of her!
