Star Student Morgan

One of my favorite things for the kids each year... their week to be Star Student in their class.  This past week was Morgan's.  Other times, both Jackson and Morgan's teachers just had a blank poster that we got to fill however we wished.  Morgan's teacher this year, Mrs. C., has a poster that they get to color and answer questions about themselves.  I really liked that... it gives the kids a little direction with still making it their own.

Some of the highlights for Morgan's...

What does she want to be when she grows up?  A Horse Rider
Favorite Animal: A Horse
Favorite Sport: Horse Riding (which she has never done at this point, but little does she know, she's going to get her shot this weekend!)

If you can't tell, she loves horses!  She did such a great job on her poster.  So proud of her!  She also had the opportunity to bring in her favorite book (The Jolly Postman), her favorite toy (her new horse she got for her birthday), and a few of her favorite pictures that tell more about herself.   She was also  the class leader for the week and Tom and I (and Noah too) each enjoyed lunch with her a couple days.  She was in heaven!

Her dinosaur diorama - she wanted me to take a picture of it when I dropped
her off on Friday.
Her star student bulletin board!
And it was St. Patrick's Day this past week...
so we dressed in our green and enjoyed
green shamrock pancakes for breakfast!
