Noah's First Days - At The Hospital

We were at the hospital for 3 days really.  Checked in early morning of Thursday the 8th and we were sent home in time for dinner on Saturday the 10th.  We were so lucky to have visitors to keep us company and to love up Noah!  All of the staff at Aurora was great! But I will say, we were ready to get home to the kids and to our own bed... and to no more interruptions from nurses all day long.

Here are just a few more pictures from Noah's first days while we were at the hospital (some of these are from my parents - Thanks!)

Thursday, May 8:
Early morning!
5:00 AM and ready to head to the hospital.
Lucky Tom - He got breakfast!  I had to start fasting
the night before... although I wasn't hungry, probably
because of the nerves.
With my dad - Thanks for getting up early to see us off!
Thanks Mom... my amazing best friend and role model!
I couldn't manage the role of motherhood without you to learn from!
Thanks Melissa and Emme!  So glad you could visit us and meet Noah!
So thankful for your friendship!
Tom and Emme
Noah all hooked up for an EKG.  The doctors and
nurses kept hearing an irregular heart beat so they
ordered this just to rule out issues.  Thankfully it was
nothing and his heart beat worked its self to normal
before we left the hospital.
Jackson and Morgan officially seeing Noah for the first time!

Friday, May 9:
Morgan's best friend Ella (and her mom Jenny) came
to meet Noah on Friday.  So sweet seeing Ella hold him.
Big Sister!
Big Brother!

Saturday, May 10:
Our friends from church, the Fenskes, came to see us too!  Love these guys!
Almost ready to go home - I was tired!
And it was the weekend of the NFL draft, so we had to
commemorate Noah's birth with his first picture with
a  Terrible Towel!
Loaded up!  Let's go!

THANK YOU to all our visitors & helpers those first few days:  Mom & Dad; Jeff & Jason; Melissa & Emme; Jenny & Ella; Jennifer, Chip, Chase & Jules; Fr. Chuck; Angela, Rigg, Gia & Vin; and Lori, Andy, Kenny & Leah!  And thanks to everyone who called, emailed, texted, or sent Facebook messages!  We loved hearing from all of you and really appreciated your thoughts and prayers!
