Girls Weekend In Pittsburgh

Yay for a girls weekend getaway!  That is, a Mommy/Morgan getaway to celebrate the soon-to-be newest female addition to the Neuberger family... Miss Ashlyn! (Well she is already part of the family, it just becomes official in July when she marries Uncle Mikey!)  Tom's mom, sister and I planned a bridal shower for Ashlyn the weekend of March 1.  The great parts were we got to meet Ashlyn's parents and maid of honor, we saw lots of the family, we had a beautiful party with some wonderful ladies, and we enjoyed some quality mommy/daughter time (even flying).  The not-so-great part, Morgan came down with a urinary tract infection right before we left.  Actually 15 minutes before boarding the flight leaving Milwaukee, Morgan had an accident and I could tell she was in pain and scared (not to mention other symptoms I didn't realize a day leading up to the trip).  We ran to the bathroom to clean her up and change... and there was blood.  Talk about a scared momma, as well as child.  Anyway, I called the pediatrician.  She said she was okay to fly, I just needed to get her to the urgent care when we arrived in Pittsburgh.  Thank goodness for that and antibiotics.  Although she was hurting for awhile, the meds quickly kicked in and we could enjoy the rest of the weekend.  Thanks for a great weekend Joni & Don!  It was so great seeing everyone!  And we can't wait to see everyone again in July when we celebrate the newlyweds - Mr. & Mrs. Michael Neuberger!!
