Last night, a few friends joined us for an Milwaukee Admirals hockey game. Tom (not sure exactly how) received tickets to a game through work. The great part though... they weren't any ordinary tickets, they were suite tickets. This included ten tickets, access for up to 20 people in the suite, four parking passes, and about $200 worth of food and drinks (granted $200 in food/drink at a sporting event isn't a lot, but it was enough to feed the 16 of us that were there). We had planned for about twenty of us, but a couple of the families couldn't get sitters for their littlest ones... thus a couple moms had to stay home. That really bummed me, but I totally understand... been there before too.

We had so much fun with our friends and their kids. Jackson and Morgan had a fantastic time... Morgan being our big sports fan was completely engrossed in the game and all that was happening. Jackson enjoyed the first period and the fight that broke out, but he lost interest half-way through the second period. That's when most of the kids got crazy running around... but since we were in a suite, we didn't bother anyone and the adults could still chat and watch the game. Sadly, the Admirals lost to the Rockford Icehogs, 1 to 3. Bummer!

Morgan before the game... She was wearing her
Admirals shirt and ready to cheer them on! |
It was a long night... didn't get home until about 11:30. Yikes, that's late for the kiddos! Thankfully, they slept in until 9, but I did have to wake them up so that we could get breakfast eaten and dressed before church. As I write this, the kids are getting on their jammies and will be heading to bed earlier than usual. Staying up late was worth it though - good memories for us all!
