Their German Gifts

Last week Tom was visiting Germany again for work.  Most of his time is spent in Bonn, but on this trip he was able to stay a little longer and he visited Munich in southern Germany.  He had a productive work time and really enjoyed getting to see Munich while taking a guided tour for a day.  He also did a little shopping for the kids while he was there... I love his picks for souvenirs!

Here is our kleine Fußball-Jungen (little soccer boy)...

Tom bought Jackson a Deutscher Fussball-Bund (German Football Association) jersey.... and of course, Jackson loved it!  Soccer is definitely his sport at this point, and he knew exactly what it was when he opened it.  Tom considered getting Jackson a lederhosen, but we both agreed that would be a waste since he would NEVER wear it!

And here is our kleine deutsche Mädchen (little German girl) in her Dirndl (a traditional German/Bavarian dress).

And just like her bother, Morgan loved her gift!  When she tried it on, she walked down the stairs oh-so carefully and watched for her Daddy to spot her... very princess-like!  It was adorable watching her twirl around for Tom and practice her curtsies.

Aren't they just the cutest?!
