We had some fun days in the Dells! Now back to the cold, school, and routines. Thankful for a little winter break. Thanks to Granny & Pup Pup for letting us use a few of their time-share points so we could have a family getaway.
We enjoyed lots of water slides and water fun, some indoor go-cart racing, laser tag, a ropes course, yummy food, and quality family time. The trip started off a little rough. We had to use our car topper for luggage... The last time we used it was on Tom's car and this time we had it on the van. Unfortunately, the key for the topper was left on Tom's set of car keys which were left at home and were not with us when we arrived at the Dells. Grrr! Let's just say, we were all not happy. But Daddy headed back home and about 2.5 hours later, we had our luggage and could get on our suits to start swimming. We can laugh about it now and we have learned from the mistake, but we thought the trip was doomed with that kind of start.
Hope we can make it back again next winter... it is such a nice break in the middle of these long, cold days. And maybe we can even fit in a day trip this summer to experience it in the heat of Wisconsin summers.
