These are just a few pictures from July that I wanted to share, but just haven't had the time to write individual posts on each topic. I really have no idea where the month of July went!

Morgan rockin' her Under Armour skirt/leggings.
She loves these - thanks Ashlyn! |
My cousin Jeff, his wife Winter, and their kids, Abby and Ian visited the Wisconsin Dells - traveling all the way from Wyoming - in early July. The kids and I made an evening trip over there to meet them for dinner. It was great seeing them! I think we figured it had been at least 7 or 8 years since we had last seen each other - and they had never met my kids before. It was a really good feeling to reconnect! The kids all got along great - Jackson and Ian especially! You would have thought they had known each other from birth. Loved that evening with family!

The boys at dinner... Ian is about three and a half years older, but they were
the best of friends! |

| I have no idea what Ian was saying, but Jackson sure thought it was funny! |

| Love this picture! |
We have also had some fun afternoons with friends and neighbors. Our friends, Kyler and Emme, and their mom, Melissa came over one day for a picnic, and then Kyler stayed to play a little longer in the afternoon. The kids had a blast playing in the pool and just hanging out together!

We have also had some nice evenings with neighbors and friends. Ironically, a neighbor three houses down from us shares the exact same anniversary as Tom and me (same year even). So one of our other neighbors found this out (via Facebook) and invited all the surrounding neighbors to an impromptu gathering in their driveway... drinks, snacks, and great conversation on a beautiful Monday evening. It was a really nice way to spend our anniversary - since we had already celebrated on the weekend. Plus we got to know our neighbors a little more. Such a thoughtful neighbor to do this for us!

Jackson caught a firefly, so I popped off the butt and put
it on his finger as a "ring". He thought it was pretty cool! |

| A little morning investigating... in the PJs. |

Finally got into clothes and now it is time for some
serious exploring. |
And after weeks and weeks of no rain (I think 6 weeks) and very hot temps, we finally had a storm blow through in July. It was amazing to see the sky. Plus we got a little over 2 inches of rain that day (a half inch in the morning and an inch and a half in the evening). Thank God for that moisture - we needed it!
So now that July is over, it really feels like summer is over for some reason. I guess it is because in only a few short weeks, we'll be heading to school. Wow! Time flies!
