Nebraska... The Good Life

Over Memorial Day weekend and that first week of June, we took a little time to get away and see my family back in Nebraska. Though a relaxing trip in most respects, it also had its stresses. Those stresses were primarily in the three days Tom and I took to head to Milwaukee to start our house hunt. While we were back, we were able to fit in quite a few things... My cousin Megan's graduation; Memorial Day services in Newcastle (which I haven't been to in probably 10 years); meeting my cousin Jamie's 3 month old daughter, Lily; my Mom & Dad's 40th Anniversary; my brother's surprise visit back to see us & celebrate Mom & Dad's anniversary; the house hunting, plus other little things here and there. It was a great trip! A HUGE thanks to my parents for watching the kids for us while we headed to Milwaukee. It made the searching much easier and we know the kids had a great time with you! The kids traveled pretty well this time - though it is getting tougher with Morgan. She is now at the age where she doesn't want to sit still at all. Jackson at least can be preoccupied by books, cartoons, snacks, and toys. That isn't so much the case with Morgan... but we managed. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip (I hope to have more on Picasa soon, but no promises).

I always love to see these signs as you enter into Nebraska.
