Jackson Drives a Boat!
We had our company picnic on August 2 on Lake Samammish. There are a couple guys in our office who brought their boats and were giving us all rides... usually there would be some tubing too, but it was an unusually cool summer day (only about 65 degrees). Mike Langan, who has quite a fondness for Jackson, took him on his lap and let him take the wheel. Jackson was automatic... one hand on the wheel and the other on the throttle! Mike was pretty proud of him...Daddy was too!
It was a pretty exhausting experience, so Jackson took a little nap on the floor of the boat. It didn't matter how fast we went, he was out!
Grandma Joni's Visit - August 5 to 10Grandma's visit was very nice... I just hope she didn't get too board since we really didn't leave home other than to do a little shopping one day. I definitely know that Jackson enjoyed the extra special attention Grandma gave him. Madi on the other hand was a little jealous and wanted some attention too... so to get it, she grabbed a dirty diaper and ran around the pool table tearing it up! Joni had her hands full while we were at work! While she was here, Grandma took Jackson to the park to go swinging...
And since he liked it so much, we got him his own swing to enjoy on the front porch.
It was really fun having Grandma Joni here and so hard to see her go too! We can't wait for Christmas now!
