We found a Saturday morning where we were actually free. Since hockey started at the beginning of this month, we have been going constant with four practices a week. We took this time to make a trip to get pumpkins. Neighbors told us about a place called Jelli's Market that we thought we'd try. So glad we did... It is a small quaint little farm business, not a big commercialized business. We could explore the whole farm - corn maze, see all the cows and calves, pet the kittens, do a pumpkin Angry Birds game, ride the "train ride", and of course pick pumpkins. During other seasons, you can go there to pick strawberries, blueberries, and apples. The family that owns it was so nice too. They had a little shop where you could buy fresh meat from their farm and they were so well priced (better than any grocery store around us). It was a great morning. The kids loved being on the farm and exploring. Memories being made. We are now ready for Halloween... well at least ready to carve for Halloween.

Okay so this isn't the pumpkin farm, but we headed home
after getting our pumpkins and then Morgan and I headed
to her horse lesson. Just a few weeks until her first
competition. She is getting so excited to ride Foxy in a
real show! |
